Your Car Warranty Details Simplified

All Our Vehicles Come With a
Dealer Guarantee!

The dealer guarantee requires us to fix a car we have sold if it is found to be defective within the warranty period, which is 3 months or 5,000 km (whichever comes first).

A dealer guarantee applies to all our cars if they are:

  • Less than 10 years old
  • Have travelled less than 160,000 km

Limitation Periods

The limitation period for a dealer guarantee begins when you take
possession of the vehicle or the sale is complete (whichever comes first).

Limitation periods can be a time period or distance driven. A guarantee
period does not include when your motor vehicle is in our possession.
For example, while assessing or repairing.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

The ACL requires that goods supplied by businesses to consumers are covered by guarantees of:

  • Acceptable quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • Goods match description or sample guarantee
  • Repairs
  • Title possession and securities guarantee

NOTE: If you purchase a vehicle from a private seller, you are not covered under Australian Consumer Law.

What We Don't Cover

The dealer guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (like brake pads or tyres)
  • Damage caused by driver misuse/negligence
  • Superficial damage to paintwork/upholstery
  • Failure caused by collision or accidental damage
  • Any modifications to the manufacturer’s specifications
  • Using incorrect fuel, fluids or lubricants
  • Unauthorised repairs to any vehicle without prior consent
  • Where the odometer has been tampered with, is faulty or inoperative
  • Any damage or repairs required as a result of continued operation once a defect or fault has occurred
