Back in April I wrote you with commendations and thanks for the excellent service that Citylink had provided me when purchasing an FPV GT. That car and that service were so good that I’ve subsequently purchased an HSV Clubsport GXP from Citylink as well. Never before have I purchased two cars within a few months!

The service from Citylink has been just as good this time around – so once again please accept my congratulations and thanks. Sales Manager Extraordinaire Col Byrne made my buying decision easy by mixing friendly humour with professional attention to detail, and again he was kind enough to bring the HSV to my Central Coast home for a test run and subsequently to deliver it to me. The car was as clean as a whistle and I love owning and driving it, as I do my FPV – what a great combination!

We did run into a small issue with the HSV when it was found there was a problem with two of the wheels. However, I received an instant response from your Service Manager Matthew Tonna when I called to ask for advice. He immediately moved to get the wheels checked and, when the problem was identified, action was underway straight away to provide me with new replacement wheels – no delays, no hassles, just a quick understanding of the situation and determination to ensure all was well for me. Both Matthew and Col kept me informed of what was happening, and Col offered to come and pick the car up to get the wheels fitted to save me any time and inconvenience in taking it back to Citylink.

Like Col, Matthew was courteous and efficient, and both of them have been a pleasure – and fun – to work with. I would also like to mention the excellent service I received from Janneke on the administration side as I completed the paperwork side of the HSV purchase. The whole Citylink Team was just wonderful. My experience with Citylink has been very different to the service I’ve received from other (major) car dealers in the past – immeasurably better in every way. I have no hesitation in recommending Citylink to anyone considering the purchase of one of your vehicles.

In late November, I visited your showroom intending to purchase a near new Holden Commodore SS V utility. I indicated quite specifically what I was after to your sales staff.

Several days later, I was contacted by your office and told that the vehicle I had requested had been located and was being prepared for sale. The vehicle not only met my requirements, but exceeded them quite handsomely. The price was right and the attention to detail was exemplary. For example, every factor had been attended to, right down to factory interior mats, registration plate covers, Chevrolet grille, wheel lock nuts, and even a full tank of premium fuel.

In addition, the vehicle has been prepared to a quite distinctive ‘CityLink’ look which the majority agree is vastly superior to what HSV delivers.

Your staff deserves commendation for their prompt and efficient service. Furthermore, the afternoon the vehicle was delivered, I was greeted at the showroom by the entire team whom congratulated me on my purchase, explained the operation of the vehicle and even set up my mobile’s Bluetooth.
